Pakistan Squad for ODI Matches against New Zealand in January 2018
Team News : Pakistan Cricket Team recently announced a 15 Men Squad for the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand. Sarfraz Ahmed leading the side while Opener Azhar Ali and Pacer Mohammad Amir has been returned to side with respective injuries.
”The team has been selected keeping in mind the conditions and the recent performances of some players in the domestic tournament,” chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq said Saturday.
Opener Ahmed Shehzad was left out and they replace Azhar Ali. Amir return to side surely boost a bowling attack of the pakistan side. One of the star All rounder of Imad Wasim was not available for the selection due to knee injury so in place of him selected committee included left arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz in the line up.
”Imad felt discomfort in his previously injured knee and has been told to work on his fitness at the National Cricket Academy,” Inzamam said.
